This is the John Boos cutting board. We have had this for about two years and this cutting board is top quality. It is 1.5 inches of thickness. It’s great for cutting or can be used as a circuit board. It’s recommended for fruit veggies and meat. Easy to clean. This is the maple color. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend the John Boos cutting board.

You put a little piece of wet paper towel or something under here and this thing really holds well and doesn’t move and the size the size is good for if you need something bigger.

So for keeping your booze block clean, you want use the board cream and the boarded oil. These are both great products to keep the grain sealed and to keep it looking the best. Uh You’re gonna grab some, I use uh paper towel, but you could use probably microfiber if you want. You can use a little more than this, but you’re gonna rub it in real well. And you’re gonna let that sit for just about 24 hours. That is the key to using this block.

Hands Down One of the Best Cutting Boards Out There! We just purchased two more of the 24 x 18 x 1.5 inch versions for permanent use on our main kitchen counter top on each side of the sink. Prior to this we had one of the 24s and a smaller version in these permanent roles. However, we failed to keep tabs on water getting under the boards from spillover from the sink during clean up and preparation.
Quality Control is Not Good Enough
The board was beautiful, looked nice but we noticed a porous cavity on the surface. This one would not be safe to use as it is not possible to clean properly. It was our first purchase from this company and it was a bit disappointing as we expected a better quality control. Gladly a replacement is on the way. Also, as was noticed by other users – the board looked very dry, so season it well before the usage. Update: the replacement was with some defects too. It will be returned. The quality is very disappointing, I’m not a client of JB anymore.
